Ok you have to be of a certain experience to recall the ESSO petrol commercial. Didn't we used to attach ESSO Tiger tails to our school satchels as well? They clearly had a keen marketing department back then.
Nowadays SEO is your licence to bill. Search Engine Optimisation. It should transform your website business and have new clients forming queues to get to you like they're Greek shoppers outside the bank.
But only if it's performed properly.
There are good ways and bad ways in everything we do. Like it only takes one drink to get me drunk. Trouble is I can't remember if it's the 10th or 11th.
With SEO you need to plan. Carefully and strategically. Seeing it as a battleground where you are the General and there's new business to fight over and win.
Google is your friend - not your enemy.
Don't get hung up on algorithms or maths.
Your website should be about your customer - not about you.
